Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Making an appointment with one of our professionals allows us to reserve time and space for your exclusive care. For this reason, we reserve the right to charge your credit card or gift certificate for any cancellations within 24 hours, no-shows, or reschedules. There will be a 50% fee charged for same-day cancellations or a $25 fee for rescheduling. No-shows will result in a charge of 100% of the service value(s). Please leave a detailed message should you reach our voicemail outside business hours. As a courtesy, we provide email and text message appointment reminders through 3rd-party software. If for some reason you did not receive this reminder, please understand it is still your responsibility to remember the appointments you make, and you will still be responsible for any "no-show" penalties. We encourage you to use your own reliable method of scheduling alerts and reminders.

Client Conduct, Hygiene & Safety Policy
Natural Elements Spa & Salon
At Natural Elements Spa & Salon, our goal is to provide a peaceful, safe, respectful, and professional environment for every guest, service provider, and team member.
To protect the comfort, safety, health, and dignity of all clients and staff, Natural Elements Spa & Salon enforces neutral hygiene, safety, conduct, and staff-boundary policies that apply equally to every client, regardless of age, disability, race, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, or any other protected status.
By booking, receiving services, or entering the spa, clients agree to follow the policies below.
1. Hygiene & Health Standards
Because spa and salon services often involve close personal contact, all clients are expected to arrive for appointments with appropriate personal hygiene.
Clients must arrive freshly bathed, wearing clean clothing, and free from strong odors, bodily fluids, visible soil, or other conditions that may interfere with the safe, sanitary, or comfortable delivery of services.
For the safety of our team and guests, Natural Elements Spa & Salon reserves the right to refuse, reschedule, or discontinue a service if a client presents with a hygiene, skin, illness, or sanitation concern that may create a health, safety, infection-control, or service-quality issue.
Examples may include, but are not limited to:
- Strong body odor, urine, fecal, smoke, or other odors that interfere with the service environment
- Visible bodily fluids, soiling, or unsanitary conditions
- Open, weeping, bleeding, infected, or contagious skin conditions
- Symptoms of contagious illness
- Any condition requiring sanitation procedures beyond normal spa cleaning protocols
If a service is stopped or rescheduled due to hygiene or sanitation concerns, cancellation fees may apply at management’s discretion.
2. Respectful Conduct
All clients are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, service providers, other clients, neighboring businesses, and anyone in or near the spa.
The following conduct is not permitted:
- Yelling, screaming, cursing, or aggressive communication
- Threatening, intimidating, harassing, or bullying behavior
- Disruptive behavior that interferes with the spa environment or other guests’ experience
- Repeated disregard for staff instructions or spa policies
- Inappropriate comments, gestures, or physical behavior
- Sexual comments, exposure, touching, requests, or conduct of any kind
- Recording, photographing, or videoing staff or clients without permission
- Being under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or substances in a way that affects safety, consent, communication, or behavior
- Any behavior that causes staff to feel unsafe or unable to provide services professionally
Natural Elements Spa & Salon reserves the right to end a service immediately, ask a client to leave the premises, contact emergency services or law enforcement if necessary, and/or decline future appointments if a client’s behavior creates a safety, disruption, or boundary concern.
3. Staff Boundaries & Professional Service Environment
Our service providers have the right to work in a safe, respectful, and professional environment.
Clients must respect all professional boundaries, including draping procedures, treatment protocols, communication expectations, and provider instructions.
A service provider may stop a service at any time if they feel unsafe, uncomfortable, disrespected, or unable to provide the service professionally. Management will support staff in enforcing these boundaries.
Requests for services must remain within the scope of professional spa and salon services. Any inappropriate, suggestive, sexual, aggressive, or harassing behavior will result in immediate termination of the service and may result in permanent dismissal from the spa.
4. Spa Environment Expectations
Natural Elements Spa & Salon is a quiet, relaxing environment. Clients are expected to help maintain a calm atmosphere.
Clients agree to:
- Silence cell phones and electronic devices while inside the spa
- Keep phone calls, videos, music, and speaker use outside the spa
- Avoid loud, aggressive, or disruptive conversations inside or near the spa entrance
- Follow staff instructions regarding appointment timing, treatment-room use, locker-room use, and spa etiquette
- Treat the property, furnishings, linens, tools, and equipment with care
Disruptive behavior inside the spa, outside the spa entrance, or near neighboring businesses may result in cancellation of the appointment or refusal of future services.
5. Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service
Natural Elements Spa & Salon reserves the right to refuse, pause, reschedule, or discontinue services when necessary to protect the health, safety, comfort, or professional boundaries of clients and staff.
This may include, but is not limited to, situations involving:
- Hygiene or sanitation concerns
- Health or infection-control concerns
- Aggressive, erratic, threatening, or disruptive behavior
- Boundary violations
- Inappropriate sexual conduct or comments
- Failure to follow staff instructions
- Repeated policy violations
- Any condition or behavior that prevents staff from safely or professionally providing services
These decisions are made based on specific conduct, safety, hygiene, sanitation, or professional-boundary concerns and are not based on disability, medical status, race, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, or any other protected status.
6. Reasonable Accommodation
Natural Elements Spa & Salon is committed to providing equal access to services and will make reasonable accommodations when appropriate and when doing so does not create a health, safety, sanitation, or service-boundary concern.
Clients who need an accommodation are encouraged to contact management before their appointment so we can discuss how to best support a safe and comfortable service experience.
Reasonable accommodation requests will be reviewed individually. Accommodations may not be available if they would create a safety risk, sanitation issue, professional-boundary concern, or fundamentally change the nature of the service.
7. Consequences for Policy Violations
Depending on the circumstances, violation of this policy may result in one or more of the following:
- Verbal reminder of spa expectations
- Service modification
- Appointment rescheduling
- Immediate termination of the service
- Requirement to leave the premises
- Cancellation fees or forfeiture of payment
- Requirement to speak with management before future booking
- Refusal of future appointments
- Permanent dismissal as a client
- Contacting emergency services or law enforcement when necessary
Natural Elements Spa & Salon will make reasonable efforts to handle concerns respectfully and discreetly, while prioritizing the safety and well-being of staff and guests.
